We are now well truely into the new year and we now have a good idea of what to expect in 2011 from the main 1:64 diecast manufacturers. I have been lucky enough to obtain some of the new 2011 models from Matchbox and Hot Wheels, both of which have some very exciting models on their way this year, include a Lamborghini Muira P400S from Matchbox and the Aston Martin One-77 from Hot Wheels. Siku have been a bit disappointing this year, with the release of only 3 new castings and none of them are passenger cars.
The biggest surprise is Majorette. In 2010, there was no news from Majorette at the time I published my page, but during the course of 2010 the have come back to life and around mid-2010, they announced and released some new models, along with other models that had been previously announced. The good news doesn't stop there because Majorette have announced some fantastic models for 2011, including an Audi A5 Coupe, Merc SLS and Renault Master.
