Over the past couple of years the collection of diecast cars in and round the 1:64 scale has been growing at a
nice pace, but with the number of cars now over 1800 it's now taking it's toll on the website. So in March, I've
been working hard on making lots of changes in the background to hopefully make things run a little smoother and
add more functionality to the website.
One of the biggest changes is that I am aiming to give at least 50% of the models on the database have a pop-up
window, providing more information and a large picture. At the start of the year with just below 1800, there was
only just over 100 models that had a pop-up window. Now 25% (that's over 450 models) of the collection have pop-up
windows with larger pictures and this will increase to 50% of the collection over the next couple of months. We
have also been improving the pages so they can filtered into more detailed sections, such as going back through
the years on the Matchbox and Hot Wheel pages and sorting by model number or name. We will continue to improve
this website, but please bare with us whilst we iron out any problems. If you have any suggestions on any improvements,
